Novel Art

Top Women are very carefully unwrapping our surgical blades and rummaging through old science books in the lab attic hoping to create our own novel art.

Fear The Ferrofluid

Ferrofluid never ceases to amaze Top Men. But watching this movie we can't help but think that it's best to keep it in the bottle. Seems better not to set the malevolent liquid free.

Classic Cosmic View

Kees Boeke's 50 year old Cosmic View (copyright 1957) is a classic on learning about the scale of things. It is similar to the Morrison's Powers of Ten, but aimed at a younger audience. Its legacy includes Charles Eames's film Powers of Ten, the resulting book by Philip and Phylis Morrison, and several similar books which followed.

If I Could Save Bees In a Bottle...

... The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every comb
Takes some photos on my camera phone
Build a site - with a banner or two.

(Our sincerest apologies to Jim Croce.)

Summer's over. Top Men and Top Women are back to work.
